On a beautiful night (near full moon - a blue moon) last night, a team of brave ghost hunters experienced the very active remains of Whittington Castle. Equipped with a range of ghost-hunting gadgets, we detected a variety of hotspots of paranormal comings and goings and spooky sensations.

We will be running another one in the near future, so if you fancy experiencing it yourself, in a small group (not like the big herds of visitors often booked in at other venues), whether you are a seasoned ghost hunter or a novice, book yourself on to our next Paranormal Investigation night on Sat 4th July. Join us at Whittington Castle on Friday 26th June, starting at 7.15pm.

The Comedy of Errors explores themes of identity, mistaken identity, and family as we find out what happens when the twins find themselves in the same town on the same day. Confusion and mishapensue as no one can tell the twins apart, husbands appear to be in love with the wrong person, debts refused to be paid and servants lock masters out of their own homes. The festival players bring an all male cast, live orignal music, comedic chaos, fast-paced story telling, traditional costume and more to Shakespeare’s most farcical play, in there own air summer theatre tour!

Don't forgot to bring your deck chairs or picnic blankets.
