Domiciliary care: where your sat-nav says “arrived at destination” but you’re actually still driving around a housing estate looking for number 47

You arrive with a smile, a bag full of supplies and the confidence of someone who definitely remembers the care plan… until you’re standing at the front door thinking, “Was it Mrs Smith who likes two sugars, or was that yesterday?” ☕😂

Then there’s the Olympic-level speed of getting in and out of the car, the mystery of where clients hide their keys, and the daily cardio of stairs, doorbells and carrying everything except the kitchen sink.

But honestly, behind all the chaos, there are some brilliant people, plenty of laughs, and those little moments that make the job worthwhile. ❤️

Domiciliary care: part caregiver, part chauffeur, part detective, part comedian… and occasionally part locksmith. 😂🚗🔑

Domiciliary care: where “I’ll only be 5 minutes” is the biggest lie since “I’m just popping to the shops.” 😂

One minute you’re helping someone find their glasses… while they’re wearing them. 👓

The next, you’re making a cup of tea that has a 17-step preparation process and must be served exactly how they like it. ☕😂

You become a cleaner, cook, chauffeur, counsellor, personal shopper, tech support and occasional detective… all before lunch! 🕵️‍♀️

And just when you think you’ve finished, you hear:
“Before you go, love…” 😭😂

But honestly, behind all the laughs, it’s about making someone’s day a little easier, helping them stay independent and being there when they need you most. ❤️

Domiciliary care: exhausting, unpredictable, occasionally hilarious… but incredibly rewarding. 🥰

Today’s solar eclipse had us all looking up at the sky…

Meanwhile, in domiciliary care, we’re used to going into people’s homes, making sure they’re safe, well cared for and never left in the dark! 😂

Our staff might not be astronomers, but we are experts at:

☀️ Bringing a little light to someone’s day

🌑 Working through whatever gets thrown at us

🫶 Caring for people when they need us most

😂 And occasionally wondering if our rota is also in a total eclipse!.

Here’s to all the amazing care workers keeping the world turning — one visit, one cuppa and one “where have I put my keys?” at a time! ☕🔑🤣

We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time position with flexible working hours available.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by providing high-quality care and support within the community.
