Are we all just one step away from litigation?
In today’s complex healthcare environment, medicolegal awareness is no longer just for expert witnesses or lawyers, it is essential knowledge for every doctor, nurse and healthcare professional. Prof May Ng OBE will be delivering an RCPCH Grand Round Webinar on Medicolegal Essentials: What You Should Know, Friday 5th June 2026, 1pm, free live webinar.
This session will provide key medicolegal principles and essential knowledge, drawing on almost 20 years of experience in courtroom and medicolegal matters. Whether you are a trainee, consultant, nurse or allied health professional, I hope this webinar will help you better understand the medicolegal landscape and how to protect patients, professionals and services. ✨ Is She Allowed That? Type 1 Diabetes and Me ✨
A powerful, honest and inspiring story about living with Type 1 diabetes — the challenges, the questions, the resilience, and the courage it takes to navigate everyday life.
This book is more than a personal journey inspired by Amyra. It is a voice for awareness, understanding and inclusion. It reminds us why lived experience matters, why children and young people with Type 1 diabetes deserve compassion, support and confidence, and why no one should ever feel limited by their diagnosis

Diabetes UK are delighted to share the launch today of the results of , a national Diabetes UK funded study led by Prof May Ng OBE , a major milestone in our collective effort to address ongoing inequities in access to diabetes technologies. The study demonstrates that despite national guidance, for more than a decade, children and young people from ethnic minority and lower socioeconomic backgrounds are still less likely to access life-changing diabetes technologies, with clear implications for health outcomes. This study, reinforces the collaborative leadership and awareness needed in addressing health inequalities and driving meaningful change in diabetes care.
