What You’ll Do:
• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the home
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a dedicated team of Residential Support Workers
• Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and emotional support
• Help young people achieve positive outcomes and brighter futures

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working in a children’s residential setting
• Strong leadership skills with a nurturing and resilient approach
• A commitment to Exceptional Care’s values and trauma-informed practice
• Level 3 Children & Young People qualification (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work toward it)

💜Another Superstar 💜

We are truly blessed to have such amazing managers, yet another manager placing as a finalist at an awards night!
Our Lovely Karen attended the special evening as a finalist in The Care Team Award category. She has worked her way up within the company and is now a successful registered manager for one of our beautiful homes.

💜 Story Time 💜

We wanted to share with you a lovely adventure written up by our RI about a magical day out with one of our young people!

"We drove over to the beautiful seaside town of New Brighton. During the car journey we sang songs and made our plan for the day. We arrived at New Brighton, parked up, and walked over to the lovely Marino lounge. C was excited and she chose in her words a ‘posh drink and posh lunch.’ C really enjoyed her time by the water and eating her lunch and described the flavours.”

“After lunch we visited the local Ice cream shop, and we had the biggest ice cream ever with C describing this as " SO creamy and tasty" we then made our journey to the fairy gardens in Vale Park. We spent our time searching for Tinkerbell and her friends and explored the magical woodland where we came across many exciting and magical things. C’s face was beautiful to watch, and her excitement and curiosity was amazing and to see her being a child again was lovely. I was even more excited to see Tinkerbell again.”

“After the fair garden we walked down the ocean front and talked about the ocean and the animals that live in there, during this time C shared with me that she has never saw a real crab before or a jelly fish and this is where the next part of our adventure came into the day. I took C to the rock pools and we explored them looking for crabs, fish, and jelly fish. C was so excited and shared with me that this was the first time she has ever been crabbing, swam, and played in the sea and touched a real crab. Again, this was delightful to see.”

"C then made an " Underwater Sea bottle" and filled this with sea water, crabs and little fish and then proceeded to splash, swim, and jump in the water smiling and laughing. After 3 hours of exploring the day had come to an end and C and I made our journey back to Oak house. When we arrived, C was excited to show the staff and her peers the sea life Bottle we made and then planned to get a shower to wash the salt water off. I later received a message from C that said, " Thank you for the for the most magical day ever" and that is why i became a RI to make memories and watch children be happy.” 💜

💜 Congratulations!!!! 💜

Our fabulous RI and homes manager attended the Stars of CYP awards on Friday night as finalists! Manager Lewis was a finalist for The Superb Support for Care Leavers award and won Highly Commended in his category.
Our RI Natalie was a finalist for The Head of People award, one nomination of many in the past year!
We are immensely proud of them and wanted to share their good news with you all.
Congratulations to you both, well deserved. 👏👏👏👏🥳🥳
