IOM Post has just released details of their new aurora stamps "Lights of Mann" which I was delighted to have been involved in They are available from Oct 25th and can be delivered anywhere in the world post-free. Do have a look at these amazing images on the stamps taken from the IOM earlier this year. Keep your eyes peeled for further auroral displays over the next few months!

October 4th is the day we entered space for the 1st time in 1957. To celebrate this milestone I am delighted to be doing another "Dark Skies supper" at "A Taste of Italy" at the Tynwald Hill Inn. Join us and enjoy a great meal and then learn all about just what led to the space race, what we achieved, and the prospects for the future in space

As you may have seen in the local media I am delighted to announce that I have recently launched a 2nd edition of my book 'Space For Dark Skies'. The book has been fully updated to include details of my appointment as the IOM Dark Skies advocate, the recent auroral displays seen on the IOM, the total eclipse in April, and the IOM getting a digital Manx flag onto the Moon. The book contains a fascinating insight into the subject of astronomy and space exploration and contains details of just what can be seen in our Manx Dark skies throughout the year. I have also added in an astronomical playlist!
Signed copies of the book can be delivered to any Isle of Man address for £20, or dispatched to any UK address for £24.00
