Here are our wonderful Author Sparks books all together. They are ready to go for the almost 300 children visiting Oldham Libraries in November and December for their Author Sparks workshops! We'll be giving you a sneak peak of the different sessions over the next few weeks.

If your Primary School would like to take part then don't hesitate to contact us we still have a couple of slots for November and December and plenty of spaces for the new year.

Follow Author Sparks every Tuesday for updates but for now have a wonderful half term!

Woohoo! What a line up we have for you all of this week!

Kicking off today with the fantastic team from Stoller Hall with Helena The Horse, a beautiful live music and story telling session perfect for all ages. And the rest of the week is jam packed from Pumpkin Painting with Positive Steps (fully booked!) and Den building with our children's team on Thursday morning.

There is SO much for you to do at Oldham Library and Gallery Oldham

Don't forget whether we have anything on or not, we would love to have you visit us!

We're having an amazing day with Manchester Literature Festival today at Oldham Library.
We had a morning of fun with Robert Tregonin, rhymes and stories at lunchtime with Adam Perrott and there's still time to catch Peoplescape Theatre at 2.15pm in the children's library. Everyone welcome!

Some of you may recognise Karuna from her reading friends or low vision groups or the many author events she hosts, maybe some of you will recognise her from her time as a library assistant at Limehurst!

Karuna is passionate about making a difference in the community and bringing people together through her work, and we love working with her at Oldham Library

Halloween storytime at Uppermill library. 👻

We had the pleasure of welcoming author Livi Michael to Lees Library this week. We'd read her book, Elizabeth and Ruth, so she popped in for a chat. It's a gorgeous slab of historical fiction with the ingredients we love - social history, a setting brought to life and familiar characters. If you haven't read it, we highly recommend!

We can't wait to welcome Blooming Artists Saddleworth alongside our friends and neighbours Gallery Oldham to their first session in November!

There have been so many of you asking us both for messy play sessions for your little ones and here they are! Explore creativity in a child-led, relaxed and friendly environment.

Starting on Saturday 7th November, spaces are limited to keep the group lovely and intimate, tickets are bookable via Ticketsource.
