Tonight white watch Oldbury and Smethwick were joined by our colleagues from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service Bromsgrove and Redditch for some inter service BA training at our fire house.

A great evening working side by side with our colleagues across the border, gaining an insight in to each other’s equipment and procedures.

A busy day for white watch today! This morning we joined up with our neighbours at Smethwick and West Bromwich stations to do some working at height training.
This afternoon we welcomed and introduced them to our hydraulic platform!

Yesterday morning Blue watch congratulated FF Kemp on completing his firefighter development journey, Lewis has completed 18 months of hard work and constant studying to be signed off competent, Well done FF Kemp!

It was bittersweet because we also said goodbye to WC Evans as he moves into a new role next week.
