We’re excited to invite you to a special Marketplace Event designed exclusively for private landlords in the area.
Join us to meet our friendly team and explore how our Secure & Sustain scheme can help you find reliable tenants and support long-term, successful tenancies.

Location: West Smethwick Park Pavilion (parking available via West Park Road)

We’ve introduced streamlined processes, more capacity, and an enhanced offer tailored to meet the needs of today’s landlords.

Sandwell Council is very aware of the current difficulties in the sector, and as such, we are pleased to invite you to a drop-in marketplace day for Private Sector Landlords which will give you opportunity to discuss possibility of Renting your PRS property through SMBC or providing your properties for use as temporary accommodation, not to mention the councils property acquisition scheme.

Our Secure & Sustain landlord offer has been improved (see attached leaflet) and we also have further help and offers available if you looking to sell or lease your property.

As we are heading into the colder months, there will be an increase of damp and mould if properties are not looked after. The Property Ombudsman has issued new guidance to prevent any damp and mould in your property, please have a read here:

Following two surveys of letting and managing agents, new guidance has been published by The Property Ombudsman to help agents, landlords and tenants deal with condensation, damp and mould in their homes.
