A relaxed, no-pressure chance for children starting Reception this September to meet up and play before school begins 🌿

Not linked to the schools — just something arranged following requests from parents. A lovely opportunity for children to spot a friendly face before their first day, and for parents to connect too 🤍

Siblings are welcome at all sessions.

We are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday (10am–2pm) before a busy few weeks of school, nursery and preschool visits, plus private parties.

After this week, our next public play session won’t be until July.

🌧️ After keeping a close eye on tomorrow’s forecast, we’ve made the difficult decision not to open on Thursday.

With thunderstorms predicted throughout the day it just doesn’t make sense for our little outdoor play village.

The good news? 🌿 The forecast for Friday is looking much brighter and drier, so we’ll be open as usual from 10am–2pm and ready for plenty of adventures.

As much as we’d all love sunshine every day, the grass, trees, plants and wildlife at Miller’s Wood are definitely grateful for the rain! 🌱💚

Thank you for your understanding, and we’ll look forward to seeing you on Friday.
