Whether you're a seasoned knitter & crocheter or just picking up your needles for the first time, we'd love you to get involved!

We're looking for volunteers to help with this year's Summer Reading Challenge!

Every year all Inspire libraries take part in the national Summer Reading Challenge. Children aged 4 – 11 are challenged to read six books over the summer.

We are looking for volunteers aged 14+ here at Beeston Library to encourage children to join and complete the Challenge, explain to them (and their parents and carers) how it works, talk enthusiastically with them about the books they have read, and help them to choose new ones!

Volunteers will need to be free for a two/three hour session per week during the six week school holidays.

✨ Fosse Park Trip - Leicester✨

Let's get out and about! Join us on Tuesday 27th January (next week!), for a wonderful day out at Leicester's Fosse Park 🛍☕️

Wander through the shops and grab a bargain at the last of the sales, followed by a sit down and a spot of lunch in their food court.

We will be leaving The Helpful Bureau - Stapleford at 10am, and aim to leave Fosse Park just before 3pm to avoid any rush hour traffic.
