We all have arguments and fall out with people, especially those closest to us, it’s a natural part of relationships. But sometimes it can feel like that's all we do, and we want things to change.

Relationships Really Matter has lots of information and support about managing everyday disagreements in a more positive and healthy way.

Childcare can be expensive, but there’s support available to help families manage the cost.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to get:
✅ 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible working parents
✅ Funded early education for 2-year-olds
✅ Tax-free childcare to help pay towards childcare costs
✅ Support through Universal Credit

📚🚌 Share books with me!🧸💬

Let your child choose a book and enjoy looking at it together! Reading doesn't always mean reading every word on the page. Talking about the pictures is a great way to build communication skills. 💬

Try commenting on what you can see: 👉 "It's a snake!" 👉 "The bird is flying." 👉 "Wow, what a big elephant!"

These simple conversations help children learn new words, understand sentences, and begin to make sense of stories. They also support attention, listening skills, and a lifelong interest in books. ❤️📚

📚 Sharing books builds imagination, communication and bonding.

Why not make time for a story today and see where your child's imagination takes you?

👀👀 We need your help, Rushcliffe Toy Appeal Marketplace 2026! 👀👀

For many years, the Toy Appeal Marketplace has helped provide new toys and gifts to families across the Rushcliffe district, making a real difference during the festive season.
To see the impact of the appeal, please watch this video that features last year's Rushcliffe Toy Appeal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQKtaoOmM18

How You Can Help
We would be grateful for any support you can offer. Previous partners and organisations have supported the appeal in the following ways:

• Donate new, unwrapped toys at one of our Rushcliffe Family Hubs (Bingham or Abbey & Lady Bay).
• Become a collection point within your organisation, service, or local community and collect new toys on our behalf. We can arrange to collect donations during the week commencing 16th November.
• Make a financial donation, provide gift cards, or nominate the appeal for any funding opportunities available through your organisation.
• Share other ideas about how you or your organisation could support the appeal.

Nominate a Family
You can also help by nominating a family living in Rushcliffe to receive support through the Toy Appeal. Please submit nominations by Monday 23rd November.

Get in Touch
To arrange support or for further information, please contact us:

We want to reach as many people and services far and wide as possible so any help to promote and spread the word would be appreciated.
Thank you for helping us bring some festive joy to families across Rushcliffe.
