Nottinghamshire Registration Service covers the whole of Nottinghamshire, from Sutton Bonington in the South to Misterton in the North, (excluding the City of Nottingham). Within Nottinghamshire we have a number of offices where births and deaths may be registered and notices of marriage and civil partnership may be given. These are; Arnold, Beeston, West Bridgford, Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield,

Eastwood, Newark, Retford and Worksop. All offices operate an appointment system; to make an appointment please call 0300 500 80 80. Our offices in Arnold, West Bridgford, Mansfield, Newark and Worksop also have their own ceremony rooms which are used for all types of ceremonies. At a recent Ramsdale Park Golf Centre wedding, our Celebrant Registrar, Jo, loved the happy couple's décor choices, with the ceremony room transformed into a vision of elegance. Delicate white florals framed the ceremony table, while soft sage green chair drapes added a touch of understated sophistication 🤍

The contemporary floral arch created a stunning focal point, perfectly complemented by the couple's modern white wedding cake adorned with cascading orchids. Every detail came together beautifully to create a romantic and stylish setting for saying "I do" 🥰

Paul and Natasha married in Nottinghamshire at the Chapel on the Hill, Kimberley, on Saturday 1st August 2026, in what proved to be an extra special occasion. Not only were they celebrating their wedding day, but theirs was also the Chapel's 200th ceremony since becoming a licensed Approved Premise 😍

Their Celebrant Registrars, Janet and Mary, conducted our Traditional Marriage Ceremony, as chosen by the happy couple, enhanced with a reading, ‘When the One’, presented beautifully by Ellie 🥹

To mark this significant milestone, Trevor and Marie, the Chapel's Responsible Persons, presented Paul & Natasha with a bottle of champagne. Trevor and Marie are the husband-and-wife team who have been at the heart of the Chapel's success since its transformation into a wedding venue, overseeing viewings and bookings and helping create a welcoming setting for hundreds of couples. This October, the Chapel will celebrate its 10th anniversary as a licensed venue - a testament to their dedication and hard work 😎

After their big day, Paul & Natasha said, “The whole experience was fabulous! The Chapel on the Hill, with it being petite, was exactly how we wanted it, small and intimate, which enhanced the emotions. The ceremony was perfect, keeping in line with tradition. The communication from all the Nottinghamshire Registration Service team was constant and it took a lot of the stress away. Janet & Mary were amazing!! Thank you all for your team’s efforts in making our special day run perfectly.” 🥰
