🎉 Congratulations to our Year 11 students on a fantastic set of GCSE results!

This year's cohort has achieved the highest-ever number of passes in both English and mathematics at grades 4+ and 5+, with significant improvements across the year group.

These results reflect the dedication, resilience and hard work shown by our students throughout their time at The Bulwell Academy. From revision sessions and independent study to supporting one another along the way, they have demonstrated what can be achieved through commitment and determination.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and wish them every success as they move on to college, apprenticeships, training and the next stage of their education.

Well done, Year 11. Your achievements deserve to be celebrated! 🌟

*UNIFORM DONATIONS REQUIRED PLEASE*

Please consider us for any uniform that no longer fits your child but could be passed on to someone else. We are particularly short of blazers. Also if your child has just left the Academy and their blazer is still in good condition and looking for a new owner, please also consider us 🙏🏻
For those wanting to purchase preloved uniform you will be able to come into school on Thursday 27th August 9.30-11.30 to do so.
If you can't make this time please get in touch via [email protected]. You can also message to check if we have a particular size for your child before coming.

We rely on your donations to keep this service running.
You can drop donations off to the Hub throughout the holidays on Mondays after 3pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings

A huge well done to everyone for today's attendance! We are slowly creeping back up, and your support is making a real difference.
Please continue to help us by ensuring that everyone is in school and on time every day. Every mark counts, and we really do want to make history and celebrate together with the Colour Run!

Attendance Update
Today's attendance is moving back in the right direction – thank you to everyone for your continued support.
We are, however, still just below our target of 90% attendance and currently stand at 89.5%.
With only a few days remaining, we are asking for everyone's support in ensuring that children attend school every day, unless they are genuinely too unwell to do so. Every child and every day makes a difference.
We are so close to reaching our target, and if we achieve 90% attendance, we will be able to go ahead with the Colour Run on the last day.
We can still do this – let's work together to get over the line!

📢 Year 7 ZooLab Visit – Tomorrow! 🐍🦎🕷️
After having to reschedule, we are delighted to announce that ZooLab will be back in school tomorrow for our Year 7 Drop Down Day!
This is an exciting opportunity for students to get up close to a variety of fascinating animals while learning about their incredible adaptations and the science of biomimicry – how nature inspires innovation and design.
Please ensure that your child attends school tomorrow so they can take part in this unique and engaging learning experience.
We can't wait to welcome ZooLab back and see our Year 7 students enjoy this memorable day of discovery! 🌟

🌟 Year 6 Transition Support for Students and Families 🌟
We are delighted to be working with the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) this year to support our Year 6 students and their families as they prepare for their transition to The Bulwell Academy.
As part of this support, MHST will be delivering two workshops in The Bulwell Academy Community Hub from 1:00pm – 3:00pm on the following dates:
