As I thought previously this week has started off super emotional.

We had a group of mums come through this morning who have visited at least once a month for the last 3 years (sometimes more than once a month). We have watched them all grow, watched siblings be born and watch the mums absolutely thrive.

A spoke to one of the mums on the way in about them starting school who said the first visit the children were so tiny they weren’t walking😭😭😭 The same as Robyn who crawled for the first 5 months!

It is such a pleasure to watch your babies grow into toddlers and then tiny people, to watch them go through all of the stages of sharing and playing to come out of the other side.

We know how lucky we are to have created such a safe space!

Also it was fantastic to see so many newbies coming through this week. It is lovely to see a fresh batch of littles using the space and playing nicely!

Tomorrow marks the final full week of having Robyn at Robyn’s World… the thought of it is making me emotional, plus all you mummy’s coming to see us before they start school.

This week is definitely going to be an emotional rollercoaster but we cannot wait to welcome new and old faces through the door.
Monday we open 10.30-12.00
Tuesday- Friday we open 10.00-11.30

We have a big range of role play options, soft play and ride on vehicles. We are suitable up to age 6 & have a cap on numbers so we don’t get too busy during the holidays.

There are 3 big things happening at the centre this week

Thursday we have our community Pantry between 11-12pm

On Friday we have a craft session we have a huge range of crafts for you to take part in and we would love to see people there! (We are missing you all)

On Saturday the team who run are wellbeing craft fairs are putting on an event on Saturday they have extra stalls and having a family friendly event. This will raise some much needed funds for the centre. Mum will be there doing food and love to see you!

The last few weeks have been extremely emotional for me after 4 beautiful years with Robyn by my side every day at Robyn’s World she will be going to school this year.

Not only does Robyn go off to school several of my long term clients also are going off to school.

While down my black hole of looking at pictures and figures

We still have 4 families who visit us at least twice a month who joined us in the first month we opened in Nov 2022, 2 of these brought their second child at just weeks - a month old.

We have 10 amazing families who join us no matter what every week and have done since 2023.

I have had the privilege of seeing all these little people growing in confidence, learning to walk, talk - Learning to ride the motorbikes and cars(this is a huge one for me).

The pride I feel for all your families whether i see them once a week or once a month I love watching them change from babies to developing imagination skills. I really see the difference with these little ones who have come from birth (we have lots of these now) The eagerness to play, willingness to learn and watching them joining in with the activities they have been watching for 10months.

We have been so lucky I want to thank all of you for allowing us to be part of your journey for standing by me for supporting my family and my business.

To all the mums having extra babies Thank you 🤣🤣 Every time you mums/Dads and Grandparents mention a baby I do a happy dance… even though Marie and her beautiful family tell me there are no more babies I still have my fingers crossed for grandchild number 5 🤣.

Myself and Robyn KNOW how lucky we are to have had all of this time with each other and all of you. I am so thankful Robyns world worked and we found our people.

Here we go to another wonderful chapter and hopefully new families visiting. We will be back open on the 24th August after time as a family.

This year we are closing Robyn’s World over the summer because there is a play scheme in our main space, instead we are doing some craft morning/ afternoons we will have a selection of crafts that children can take part in. Robyn’s world will not be available during the craft sessions this will be in another room.

We do have the first and last week open as Robyn’s world so why not join us then?

Please be aware that during the holidays we do have children up to 6 joining us so some who have gone to school this year will be returning for a play too.
