We are incredibly excited to share that Mr Tutin will be taking on the Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon on 27th September to raise funds for our much-loved Library Bus!

Running a marathon is no small feat, and Mr Tutin is embracing this challenge to help preserve a special resource that brings joy, imagination, and a love of reading to our children every day.

Our goal is to raise £5,500 to fund essential paintwork and body repairs, ensuring that the Library Bus remains safe, protected, and inspiring for many years to come.

We would be delighted if parents, families, and members of our wider community could come together to support Mr Tutin as he prepares for this ambitious challenge. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.

Calling all local business and craft studios! We are hosting our annual Summer Fair on Saturday 11th July and we are looking for people who may be interested in holding a stall onsite (for the rental charge of £20). **FANCY JOINING OUR TEAM?**

An opportunity to join our brilliant group of Midday Supervisors has arisen. We are looking for a midday supervisor to join our current team of lunchtime support staff. Successful candidates will be responsible for the supervision of children on the school premises throughout the midday break both in the dining room and around the school. They will also work with the children to promote positive playtimes by teaching them new games and rules for games, encouraging them to demonstrate to each other how to play and interact.

Application deadline: Tuesday 3rd March at midday
Shortlisting: Tuesday 3rd March
Interview date: Friday 6th March

What a lovely end to the half term with a cheque from the local Rotary Club for £400 towards Reading Books! We are so particular about the phonics books we send home, publishers charge such a hefty price for them, so it has been warmly welcomed. Thanks to all within the local community who added some pennies into the collection boxes whilst Santa visited on his sleigh around Arnold this year, as this is where contributions to the pot come from.

Inspired by the great Paolo Uccello's 'Saint George and the Dragon,' we are pleased to share our incredible Art Exhibition 2026 with you. All year groups, including our nursery, were inspired by this incredible painting to create multiple pieces of art, culminating in a whole-school art exhibition! Today, we invited all parents and carers to visit school to view all the artwork on display alongside our very proud children. Take a look at this year's exhibit, another reason why Pinewood is the place to be.
