All are welcome to join us on Thursday 10 September for The Matthew Project's annual Finding Hope Together service, remembering and honouring the lives of those lost and suffering due to addiction.

Doors open at 7.15pm for the service which starts at 7.30pm in the South Transept.

Did you know...?

The magnificent 315ft spire that rises high above the city’s skyline today is actually Norwich Cathedral’s third documented spire.

The first spire was blown down in a storm around 1361 and the second was destroyed in a fire caused by lightning in 1463.

It's third time lucky for the current spire, which has been standing strong since 1485!

All are welcome to join us on Friday 18th September for a special service of Choral Evensong, as we bid farewell to the Venerable Steven Betts ahead of his retirement at the end of the month.

⏰ 5.30pm

Archdeacon Steven was installed as Archdeacon of Norfolk in Norwich Cathedral on 29 April 2012.

Having grown up in Nottingham, he previously served a curacy in the Canterbury Diocese, before moving to Norfolk in 1994. He has held a number of positions in the Diocese of Norwich, including Bishop's Chaplain, Vicar of Old Catton, and Bishop's Officer for Ordinands and Initial Training, working with ordinands and curates.

This service will also be livestreamed for those unable to join us on the day.
