Cllr Emma Hampton, cabinet member for climate change, says:
"The council understands it has a key role to play in tackling the climate crisis, both in reducing our own impact, but also acting as a leader for the city. Iโm proud of the ambitious actions we have taken as a council to cut carbon emissions and to see a two thirds reduction is really encouraging.
But we canโt be complacent and will need a clear blueprint for the city council reach net zero emissions by 2030. I look forward to sharing our updated plan soon."
