Here are just some of the fabulous readers who attended our Summer Reading Challenge 'Read to the Beat' Awards Ceremony yesterday. The children were presented with a medal and certificate for completing the challenge, and we shared book recommendations. We also enjoyed reading 'All Join In' by Quentin Blake - a book that has a very good beat! Very well done to everyone and thank you for coming!

It's not too late to collect your certificate and medal if you haven't done so already - just ask a member of library staff.

It may have rained recently, but Norfolk is still officially in drought, so we decided to make some rain makers at craft club. Hopefully they will help make our garden look a bit greener!

This was the last of our 'Read to the Beat' themed musical craft clubs for the Summer Reading Challenge, and next week we will be back to normal with some seasonal crafts. We look for to seeing you on Tuesday 4-5pm!

We have a fabulous selection of new junior fiction books at Tuckswood Library - new additions include classics like Malory Towers (now a popular BBC series), the spellbinding fantasy series Redwall by Brian Jaques, and award winning titles by Philippa Pearce, Judy Blume, Hilary McKay and David Almond.
