As of October 2025, Norfolk & Waveney has 62,634 records successfully stored in the National Document Repository, Access & Store Digital Patient Documents Service, unlocking an estimated annual cost save value of £51,290! ✨

Digitisation with transfer to the National Document Repository was adopted during the closure of Toftwood Medical Centre, repatriating 3,774 records digitally and saving £46,000! 👏

Norfolk and Waveney ICB can announce the successful outcome of the recent procurement for general practice IT services, with Norfolk Community Health and Care (NCHC) emerging as the winning bidder 🎉

Thank you to primary care colleagues who played a crucial role in evaluating the bids.

The transition will take many months and work will commence shortly. NCHC has a proven track record of working with GP Practices in Norfolk and Waveney, providing robust resilient networks and practice wi-fi.

We are excited about the completion of the cloud migration for GP Practices, which aims to eliminate siloed working, enhance resilience, and enable flexible working. This sets the stage for future innovations in IT and the use of digital tools.
