DOOR UPDATE: Stalham Library

The engineer has been and got the doors working again 😊so Stalham Library is open again (Open Library access today, Friday)

The library is next staffed Saturday 1pm - 4pm (Open Library access 8am - 1pm)

DOOR UPDATE - Stalham Library

Apologies, the engineer was unable to visit the library today to fix the door but will hopefully be here tomorrow.

So Stalham Library will be closed Friday morning, possibly longer - we hope to have an update once the engineer has visited.

We are hoping that our front door will be fixed on Thursday 3rd September. Staffed times remain the same but we will be working on reduced hours for open library access.

Fri 28/08 – closed, no open library access
Sat 29/08 -1-4pm (usual staffed times)
Sun 30/08- manned from 10 till 4
Mon 31/08 – Bank Holiday closure
Tues – 9am to 7pm
Wed – 02/09 – Closed , no open library access
Thurs- 11-7pm (usual staffed times)

9000 SIGN UPS TO THE SUMMER READING CHALLENGE!

We've broken 9000 sign ups, and we're extremely happy about that. Why? Well, it's 9000 Norfolk children reading books and getting stickers. 9000 Norfolk children having fun reading books they love. 9000 Norfolk children challenging themselves with epic reading goals. 9000. It's a big number; just imagine a crowd of 9000 people. Except they're children all reading brilliant books. A wholesome thought!

There is still time (just!) to get involved if you haven't - there's a mini challenge for children aged 0-4 an a main challenge for 4-11. You can sign up in any Norfolk Library, and it finishes Saturday 12 September.

If you HAVE finished...why not collect your medal and certificate at one of our ceremonies! Check with your local branch when they are hosting theirs.

The Summer Reading Challenge is delivered by The Reading Agency in partnership with libraries and powered by Universal Music Group.

Due to our ongoing problems with the front door, we will be opening
Wednesday 26th from 9am to 5pm only
Thursday 27th from 9am to 7pm.

We continue to experience difficulties with our front door. We will close at 5pm this evening and will open with staff tomorrow from 9am

We are still having problems with our front door. The library will be manned today from 10.30 till 4.
It will be completely closed tomorrow Sunday (no Open Library access) . We will be manned again from 9am till 5 pm on Monday.

The library will be completely closed until Saturday 1pm. We are still having problems with the front door. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.

The front door is currently not working so unfortunately there is no Open Library access and the library will be closed for the rest of today. We are waiting for the engineers to come and have a look at it. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
