Our Firefighter of the Year Award goes to James (Jim) Hawkins, who is based at Carrow Fire Station in Norwich.
As a crew manager, he consistently displays outstanding leadership, whether it's responding to incidents or mentoring firefighters on his watch.
Jim's calm decisiveness, deep expertise and unwavering commitment to both crew safety and public service create a culture of excellence and resilience.
He has also played a key role in a number of important service-wide projects, showing his willingness to go above and beyond expectations.
