This is an exciting opportunity for those who have gained a Foundation Degree (or due to complete in the next 2 months) in Health Studies to Top-Up to a full Degree course, to become a Registered Nurse at the James Paget University Hospital.

The Nurse Degree Apprenticeship Top-up course is a 25 month education programme, working towards becoming a Registered Nurse with a BSc Hons degree.

About the role:
As a Nurse Degree Apprentice you will be employed and paid by the James Paget University Hospital for the duration of the course. You will be allocated to one specific area, but will also experience working across both internal and external placements to gain an appreciation of the different areas of local healthcare service and meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements.

What they are looking for:
- Foundation Degree Level 5 Qualification and completed End Point Assessment of Apprenticeship (certificates of completion required).
- Literacy (Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent e.g. GCSE Grade C or above in English)
- Care Certificate
- Health and Social care experience including volunteering

Skills that will help you shine:
Commitment to undergo training, demonstrate insight into the role, basic IT skills, effective written and verbal communication, ability to work as part of a team. Courteous and respectful, kind and helpful and responsive communication.

Hours: Full-time
Wage: £21,030.10

Kickstart your career in health, safety and sustainability! You can gain hands-on experience while earning your Level 3 SHEQ Apprenticeship and making a real impact on site performance and safety culture with this opportunity from Core Highways Group.

About the role:
The successful applicant will support the delivery of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards while completing a structured Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician Apprenticeship. The role involves providing practical SHEQ advice and guidance to site teams, supervisors and managers, promoting a positive safety culture, and assisting with the implementation of the company’s Health & Safety Management System. Responsibilities include carrying out site inspections, audits and tours, supporting the development of risk assessments, method statements and task briefings, and assisting with accident and incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions. The position also includes monitoring compliance, supporting environmental controls such as waste management, pollution prevention and sustainability initiatives, and contributing to performance reporting and continuous improvement activities. Additionally, the role will involve assisting with training, toolbox talks, subcontractor compliance, audit preparation, and supporting SHEQ-related health matters, while occasionally contributing to bids and attending client meetings as part of professional development.

What they are looking for:
GCSE in maths and English at a grade 4/C.

Communication skills, IT skills, attention to detail, team working, organisation skills, confident communicator, willing to learn, time management skills, approachable, supportive, collaborative, practical and solution focused, use initiative, committed to development, an interest in SHEQ and full UK driving licence.

If you're looking for a farming role, operating machinery and assisting with livestock and harvest work, then this crop technician / general farm apprenticeship might be for you!

About the role:
The role will involve taking responsibility for operating and maintaining your own tractor and equipment in line with service schedules. A range of farm tasks, including topping, muck spreading, mucking out cattle sheds using a telehandler, bale carting, harvesting, and providing livestock support with a focus on machinery operations rather than husbandry. There will be opportunities for spraying once qualified. The position requires working independently at times, operating farm vehicles on the road (minimum age 18), and being prepared for long working hours.

What they are looking for:
GCSE in maths and English at a grade 4.

Skills that will help you shine:
Attention to detail, problem solving skills, team working, physical fitness.

Other requirements:
Full UK driving licence and own transport & able to operate farm machinery on UK roads.
