Northallerton Library

Northallerton Library At Northallerton's public library we are open to all. This is an official page run by North Yorkshire Library Service staff. The library is opposite Tesco.

We offer books, including large print and audio, activities for all ages, computers and digital services, a home library service and a warm welcome. This page is not currently updated regularly. For news and updates please follow the nycclibraries page. Northallerton library is at the south end of the High Street, at the junction of South Parade, Thirsk Road and High Street. Buses stop on the High

Street and the railway station is a ten minute walk away. You can borrow a range of books, DVDs, large print books, music CDs, story tapes and talking books. Information and facilities at the library include:

If you'd like to read into of your blood pressure at home, free blood pressure monitors are available to borrow from your local library.

Visit your library to find out more and take a simple step towards better health.

In 1995, Dolly Parton launched her Imagination Library to inspire a love of reading by gifting books to children from birth to age five. Since then, more than 330,000,000 books have been given to children in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.

The Think Together Team will be waiting to meet you at a drop-in session at Northallerton library tomorrow (Wednesday, 26 August), between 10am and 2.30pm.

The team is a mental health, early intervention and prevention service working to help young people, parents and carers and the community to better understand support and services.

Drop in to understand what the team does, to find out what support is available and to help to shape where the service goes next.

We have a selection of books on how to home school, stories from actual teachers about their time in their role, and some fantastic novels based in schools and educational facilities.
