It is a bit of a scorcher today so why don’t you pop into Northallerton Library to cool off?

Did you know that the main part of our library is underground and shaded by our lovely trees so we are lovely and cool.

Why don’t you check us out we have books, a selection of todays newspapers, free wi-fi and access to computers. You can even fill up your water bottle to help keep hydrated.

Did you know you can borrow a blood monitor machine from Northallerton Library for free. It is really important to know your numbers as this can be an early detection for any health concerns and to check if you have high blood pressure.

To get an accurate reading, we don't suggest that you check your blood pressure during 9-11pm tonight. ⚽

Are you aged 13-25? We are looking for young volunteers to help deliver the Summer Reading Challenge between July and September!

Summer Reading Challenge volunteers will work alongside library staff in delivering the Summer Reading Challenge. They will welcome children and parents, give support, praise and encouragement, and do their best to ensure that each child completes the challenge, enjoys the experience and gets maximum benefit from taking part.

It’s an ideal opportunity to improve your UCAS application, enhance your CV, and meet new people!
