Newtownards Nursery School is a state funded educational establishment offering 52 full time nursery places to children age 3-4. At Newtownards Nursery we are committed to ensure the highest standards of learning and teaching for all our children. As a 'Very Good School' in the last ETI Inspection, May 2014, we provide a rich, stimulating and inspiring learning environment. We believe that, rather

than seeing the child as an empty vessel waiting to be filled with knowledge, there is a child with unlimited potential who is eager to interact and contribute to the world. We believe that observing, reflecting, assessing and documenting children's learning, successes and achievements are crucial elements of the Northern Ireland Pre-School Curriculum.

🕖 Meeting Time: 7:00 PM (parents only)

👕 Nursery Uniform: Representatives from D. Crawfords will be available from 6:30 PM until the start of the meeting, with nursery uniform available to purchase.

We can’t wait to meet you all and begin this exciting journey together!

Two weeks ago we had our March shared education day where some friends from Bangor Integrated Nursery School came to play and completed shared pieces of art work (with the help of Carla Hodgson Art). Today the finished pieces were delivered and we are astounded at how beautiful they are and can’t wait to display ours and deliver the other to our friends in Bangor. Beautiful shared pieces of work providing lasting memories.

On Tuesday we enjoyed our March ASPIRE Shared Education day - Our friends from Bangor Integrated Nursery School visited Newtownards Nursery School, where the children spent the morning playing, exploring and creating beautiful shared art pieces with local artist Carla Hodgson. Meanwhile, Fox Class met up with Bangor’s Squirrel Class in Clandeboye Forest, where they played together, made their own bubble blowers, and enjoyed a cosy story under the Magic Story Tree. It truly was a fabulous day for all the children and adults involved, and we already can’t wait to do it all again next month!
