💚 I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but a huge thank you to the wonderful for the well wishes ahead of Thursday. 💚
💚 Being from just down the road, Mel knows exactly how much heart this area has.
💚I’m so grateful to for her support today.
💚 We spoke about something that isn’t easy to talk about, but it’s the reason I’m standing for election: our children are being left behind.
🔴 St Helens has one of the highest rates of young people reaching breaking point and self-harming in the entire country. This is the tragic, human cost of a SEN backlog that leaves families fighting a broken system for years just to get basic support.
🔴As a nurse, I’ve spent my life caring for people in crisis. I am tired of seeing ‘vanity projects’ get millions while our children’s mental health and education are treated as an afterthought.
🟢 I am standing to be a firm, unapologetic voice for Newton East and across St Helens
💚 I want to use my professional expertise to make sure every council decision is judged by one standard: Does this protect our most vulnerable? No more excuses. No more ‘managing decline.’ It’s time we put human dignity first.
✅ If you want a councillor who will fight for your family and put a nursing lens to every decision - please vote for me this Thursday. 🗳️🌿
