PRO-UK TACTICAL VOTE GUIDE WEST SCOTLAND

Tactical voting guidance for pro-UK voters has been published today.

Here is what it says about maximising your chances of beating the SNP on your party (peach) vote and constituency vote:

Eastwood - Vote for the Conservatives and Jackson Carlaw: This seat in the East Renfrewshire suburbs is traditionally a three-way battle between the Tories, Labour and the Nats, although the Conservatives won by 2,216 votes last time out with Labour a distant third.

It's one of the few examples where the two biggest Unionist parties refuse to cede any ground to the other, and both Labour and the Tories will be fighting hard again this time. Our advice is to vote for the defending candidate – Jackson Carlaw has represented Eastwood exceptionally well since 2016 and deserves another five years.
