Join us for the next illustrated talk next Tuesday 19th May with the Friends of the Railway Studies Collection. This month we'll be joined by Peter Wade with his talk on Mamhead Military Railway.

All are welcome to attend, talks are free for Friends of the Railway Studies Collection and guests are invited to contribute £2 per person.

*Please note the slightly later start time of 7:30pm as the FRSC will be holding their AGM from 7-7:30pm*

We are currently looking for people to join our Friends of the Railway Studies Collection group. We are particularly keen to recruit people to fill the following roles;

Secretary-
As part of the role you would be expected to play a key part in membership organisation and to help with enquiries regarding the collection. As well as prepare the AGM and occasional other meetings (with Chairman and Treasurer)

Webmaster-
As part of the role you would be expected to update the existing website, liaise with the website host and look for further ways to improve the site

Book Sales Coordinator-
As part of the role you would be expected to check the sales potential of books offered to the collection. Assist in selling books at future sales with other members. Propose options for other places/venues to sell books

We are also looking for people to join and help with other areas of the collection such as scanning, shelving and photo identification.

Our next illustrated talk with the Friends of the Railway Studies Collection takes place on Tuesday 19th May, 7pm. There will be the Annual General Meeting followed by an illustrated talk on the Mamhead Military Railway 1917-1921 by Peter Wade. All are welcome to attend and non-members of the FRSC are invited to make a donation of £2 per person.
