*** Update: She’s been found and is home, safe and sound ***

Hello all neighbours in Haccombe and surrounding areas. This lovely cat has been missing since Monday. Have you seen her? Can you please keep an eye out for her? Her owners love her and miss her very much.

This is Ted, a yard cat that has has gone missing. Can you please keep an eye out for him? He lives a very lovely life in a stables up Haccombe path. Occasionally he has been known to wonder down to Haccombe House, pretending he hasn’t been fed for weeks! If he is hanging around please don’t feed him, his owners are waiting for him to come home with many tins of cat food!!

*** GRANT APPLICATIONS INVITED ***

Haccombe-with-Combe Parish Council would like to give local community groups the opportunity to apply to the Parish Council for a grant for expenditure which, in Councll’s opinion is in he interests of, and will bring direct benefit to the Parish or all or some of its parishioners.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The Parish Council will consider applications from the parish of Haccombe-with-Combe based groups if certain criteria are met, including:

* The organisation must be based in the parish of Haccombe-with-Combe with a membership of predominantly Haccombe-with-Combe parishioners and aims which benefit the inhabitants of Haccombe-with-Combe parish

* The organisation will be required to submit a copy of its constitution and copy of their latest accounts

* Groups making applications will be expected to demonstrate that other sources of funding have been sought prior to application

HOW TO APPLY:

Applications should be submitted by 31 December 2025 and will be considered by the Parish Council at its meeting on 7 January 2026.

We’re excited to welcome you to Hearn Field for our Bonfire Night celebration! To make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable evening, please note the following:

EVENT TIMINGS
- Gates open: 5:30pm
- Bonfire lit: 6:30pm
- Fireworks display: 7:00pm

TICKETS
Please have your tickets (NOT email confirmations), with the QR/barcode, ready for scanning as you arrive

TRAVEL AND PARKING
The field is soft and turning muddy due to recent rain. PLEASE, where possible, walk or car share and leave your car at home. This also means you can enjoy our licensed bar! If you do need to drive, see the photo below for directions

SAFETY RULES
- No personal fireworks or sparklers – this is essential for everyone’s safety and insurance compliance.
- No laser lights – they can distract operators and dazzle others.
- No dogs – please leave pets at home.
