Meet the family behind Diddy Dolphins Swim School, Cornwall Dolphins.
Alexis, Leo and Leven 🤍🐬
Last weekend we celebrated Leo turning 11… and with that, 11 years of me being a mum. 🙏🤍
What feels extra special is that Diddy Dolphins was born at the same time Leo arrived into the world.
In so many ways, he was the little nudge I needed to follow my dream to take my 20 + years of experience working with babies, children and adults in the water, and build something of my own here in Cornwall.
It all started with just six swimmers at the Sandy Lodge Hotel pool. From there, we were lucky enough to grow with the support of venues including Glendorgal Hotel, The Park, Newquay Hydro, Truro School and Newperran pools. 🙌
Today, I feel incredibly proud and grateful to have built strong relationships and run the swim school with two amazing venues Atlantic Reach and Piran Meadows Resort who help us support such a wonderful community of local families.
I’m not always the best at celebrating myself on social media. The truth is, the heart of Diddy Dolphins is the team; Leila, Kat, Hannah and Rachael, who give me the confidence in everything we achieve together. ♥️🐬
But recently, Leo and Leven told me how proud they are that Diddy Dolphins is our family thing. And honestly, that meant everything. Those who know me will know there were tears!! As much as I sometimes worry about working too much or replying to messages when I’m with the boys… they understand. They see it. They feel what we’ve built. 🙏🥂✨
So this is a big thank you to our friends, family, and every single person who has supported us along the way.✨🤍💕
It hasn’t always been easy, but believing in people, in their progress, and in their confidence in the water is something I’ll always be passionate about.
I still worry (probably always will), but I’m learning. And knowing the boys believe in this dream too makes it all worth it. 🥺
So before I get too deep or too emotional… this is simply a post to celebrate
