Action for Children Fostering Wales is a charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children. We recruit, assess, train and support fostering families and are an unique 'attachment fostering' service providing therapeutic training to foster families and therapeutic support to the children they care for. We work hard to make sure that fostering families get the right support so that fostering a child is a fulfilling and a rewarding experience. We work directly with local authorities in Wales to provide an integrated approach to children in need of fostering families. We hold family values and believe in positive relationships as the key to success. We all work as part of a team and provide an extensive range of activities and events throughout the year for our fostering families and children. We are also a campaigning organisation and are able to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children in Wales. We do not make a profit from caring for vulnerable children.
