If you are caring for someone who couldn’t manage without your help, support is available.

The council’s community connectors support anyone aged 16 and over, including unpaid carers. They offer information, advice and practical help to build independence, support wellbeing and help you manage your caring role.

A community connector can:
• offer advice by phone, email, post or face to face about the support available to you
• help you find local activities and opportunities
• provide information on accessing carers’ grants
• support you to take time out from caring or connect you with other unpaid carers
