Beicio Cymru has introduced a new structure for our Development & Events teams to strengthen support for cycling clubs across Wales.

As a small organisation supporting cycling activity across Wales, these changes will help us share expertise more effectively, respond to local needs, and provide more consistent support. Key updates include:

βœ… A Wales-wide Development Team structure, allowing specialist support to be shared across the country

βœ… Continued Wales-wide support from our Events Team, helping stakeholders deliver safe, high-quality cycling events

βœ… The introduction of a dedicated North Wales Club Support Officer, providing clubs in the region with a local point of contact alongside the existing North Wales Women and Girls Coordinator role.

With the Tour de France Grand DΓ©part 2027 approaching, this new structure is needed to help us maximise opportunities for clubs, volunteers and communities across Wales, supporting long-term growth and participation in cycling.

We also encourage clubs to sign up to our new Club Newsletter, which will become our primary channel for sharing updates, opportunities and resources. πŸ“©

A huge thank you to our fantastic student volunteers and placement students who have supported Beicio Cymru across Wales this year. 🌟

From helping at Disability Sport Wales Insport Day, to supporting school cycling activities in Cardiff, Aberdare and Swansea, as well as the Caerphilly Schools Festival, Carl, Cerith and David have played an important role in creating positive cycling experiences for young people and communities. 🀩

We're also proud to recognise student volunteer Isabelle Wallace, who shared:
