The archive itself has been temporarily closed to visitors in 2020 because of the complicated situation surrounding the no
vel coronavirus pandemic. Astrologers and scholars of the history of astrology may again apply to visit it from July 2021 subject to available time. Please bear in mind that the archive is not in receipt of any institutional funding, so any time spent supervising visits is voluntary and discretional and will be restricted to weekend visits scheduled by prior arrangement on application. Please note that in the interest of security, the point indicated on the map for the approximate location of the library in central Newport is deliberately inexact, and the address will only be made available to prospective bona fide visitors after an informal vetting process. In the absence of ongoing funding, we do not have the resources that would be needed to manage security risks if the address were to be publicly listed at this point in time.
