Join me outside the Scottish Parliament this Thursday (18th September) at 10am to call on the Scottish Government to finally reject Flamingo Land’s destructive mega-resort on the banks of Loch Lomond.

These daft plans were approved by government officials back in June. Outrageously, they overturned the National Park’s board’s unanimous decision to reject the application, discarding over 150,000 public and expert objections in the process.

Over 50,000 of us wrote to the Planning Minister, forcing him to recall that decision and commit to making the final choice himself.

Now we need to ensure that he makes the right choice and ends this sorry saga.

If you can, please join us on Thursday 18th September at 10am outside the Scottish Parliament to tell the Scottish Government to reject Flamingo Land’s mega-resort.

This greedy corporation has spent a decade trying to exhaust the community into submission, but we have successfully fought back time and again. Together we can finally stop them.

Bread for Good Community Benefit Society (Scotland the Bread) is looking for a part-time Co-Miller, to work flexibly, effectively and positively alongside the Co-Miller (Production) at our organic flour mill at Bowhouse, St Monans.

The Co-Miller (Sales) manages admin and order processing while assisting with the production, bagging and despatch of flour and other baking-related goods through our online shop, to wholesalers and at regular markets. The co-miller’s task is to grow sales through these and new social channels. A keen desire to help build our community of practice and advance the cause of local organic grains and real bread is important.
