Byker Garden

Byker Garden The Byker Centre and Byker Garden is a community project set in the heart of the Byker Wall Estate. We are a community gardening project.

The garden was created in 2011 and transformed the derelict church yard of St Michael's church into a community garden space to be used by all Byker Residents. We welcome gardeners of all abilities and we hope to see the garden develop and grow over the coming years. The project is funded by the Big Lottery Community Spaces Fund, Groundwork UK and Newcastle City Council
