The purpose of this group is to explore the possibility of a public house or other commercial space in the central area of Newcastle Upon Tyne for the purpose of table top role-playing, collectable card games, war gaming, live action role-play meeting and other such related activities. Whilst still in the initial conceptual stages, the idea is to provide a space for these activities that provides
both a conducive atmosphere as well as supplies and materials including but not limited to: role-play rule sets, dice, dry wipe maps, stationary, table top figurines and character sheet printing facilities (copyright permission depending). As well as this, the nature of a public house would also allow for the serving of food and drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) allowing clients to use the facilities for longer periods of time with greater convenience.
