🎨🐞 Welcome back to nursery! 🐞🎨

It’s been lovely being back and getting stuck into some creative fun! Today we started off by painting our very own ladybirds 🐞❤️🖤

As always, the children’s curiosity took us in a different direction, and our ladybird painting soon turned into a wonderful exploration of colour mixing! 🎨 We experimented with different colours, watching with excitement as they changed and transformed.

We then extended our learning into a sensory exploration, giving the children the opportunity to investigate the colours and textures in a hands-on way. 🌈✨

So much creativity, curiosity and learning all rolled into one lovely afternoon! 💕

A brand new month means a brand new term at Ladybird! 🐞💛

We’re so excited to welcome back our wonderful children and families — and a big welcome to all our new little Ladybirds joining us! 🥰

This term, we’re going to be learning all about COLOURS!🌈🎨

We’ll be exploring, mixing, creating, experimenting and discovering all the wonderful colours around us through lots of fun, hands-on experiences. 🖌️🖍️💚💙💛❤️

From bright and beautiful to soft and cosy, we can’t wait to see where our colour journey takes us! 🌈✨

Today is your absolute final chance to apply for 30 hours of free childcare for the upcoming autumn term.🎉🙌

If your child is eligible and you want the funding to start this September, you must complete your application and receive your code by midnight tonight (31st August).

What you need to do right now:
☆Apply immediately: Head straight to the GOV.UK Childcare Service website to submit your application.

☆Check your account: If you already have a code, make sure you have logged in to reconfirm your details if your 3-month renewal window is up.

☆Secure your code: The code must be officially issued and valid before 1st September, or you will miss out on funding for the entire autumn term.

Don't delay—systems get busy on deadline day! ⏰

If your child is aged 5–10 years and is eligible for the HAF programme, they can enjoy action-packed holiday sessions filled with fun, creativity and adventure—all at no cost.
