We can’t get enough of Puffin Cam at the moment, which is streaming live from the Farne Islands, but if you need another Farnes fix, the Islands also star in this Friday’s episode of Hidden Treasures of the National Trust.

As well as being a haven for wildlife, the Farne Islands also have a rich history, with strong links to early Christianity and St Cuthbert, who lived as a hermit on Inner Farne in the 7th century. The programme will take you behind the scenes of the careful conservation of the colourful stained-glass window in St Cuthbert's Chapel, along with the annual puffin census.

Catch it on BBC Two tomorrow at 9pm or watch it anytime on BBC iPlayer
