The Seafood Boil is Back! 🦞 🦀 After much success, fun and demand last year, it returns. Bookings are now open for Sunday 4th October, with sittings at 1.30pm, 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are £45. 🦐

Tickets include 2 courses; A selection of snacks and the Cajun style seafood boil. Supplementary snacks, sides and desserts are available to purchase on the day, as well as a special drinks list for the event. 🦞

Last night, I won the Cookery Book Award at the Guild of Food Writers Awards 2026, the most prestigious food writing prize in the UK. I still can’t believe I won.

The Guild has been celebrating the very best in food writing since 1984, with hundreds of entries every year. To be recognised amongst that calibre of work really means a lot. There were a lot of inspiring figures in the room!

I’m pretty sure I’m the first person from Newcastle to bring one of these home. Thank you to everyone who has supported this book, eaten at my restaurants, and believed in what I do.
