Summer Activities
Funded activities for the summer holidays will start to appear from the end of June. There is no fixed date or time as each individual provider will upload when they are ready. We have had more applications than ever to provide great activities so hopefully there will be something your child can enjoy. A list of the activities and all the contact details will appear on the website https://www.northtyneside.gov.uk/youth-hub/things-do/ease-programme/book-ease-activities so any issues, contact the provider first, not the council.

New 16 booking credit limit.
Each child will have 16 ‘booking credits’ which equates to 16 days of activities they can access. This means they could attend 2 weeks of 4 days at Bubble Boots, 4 days at Blue Flames, 2 days at Wallsend Boys’ Club, a Jump 360 pass and a trip to the Ice Rink. This is due to so many high-volume bookings where people overbook and cancel or just don’t turn up. If you do cancel a day, you can then book on another date/activity. Please have a think about what your child would really like to do before making any bookings. The free eligible swimming is not part of this 16-day cap and children can swim every day if they wish.

Children registered with easeINTO who receive income related Free School Meals can access free swimming over summer.
Please note:
✅ Income related FSM = eligible
❌ Universal Free School Meals (EYFS/KS1)= not eligible. If you feel your child should be eligible due to your income, please email [email protected]
Please show proof of eligibility to leisure staff when attending. This could be the booking system page which states your child is eligible or a letter/email from the school/council.

*After the rain comes.....the summer!*

By the end of the month, the summer easeINTO/HAF providers will have uploaded their activities onto the booking system. (There will be no set date and time) Why not take this opportunity to make sure you can login and your child's details are still correct. Remember how you logged in the first time and choose that option. No one should choose Azure as this is internal only.

Power Through Sport is one of the fantastic providers we fund over the holidays through the government HAF grant. Why not get a group together and have fun whilst raising money for a good cause.
Power Through Sport say.....
Here’s how it works:
• Your team brings participants along to the event
• Participants raise sponsorship through your networks
• All funds raised are split 50/50 between your organisation and Power Through Sport CIC
• We handle the event delivery, atmosphere, and coordination
We see this as more than just a fundraiser — it’s a chance to:
• Engage young people in a positive, active experience
• Build connections between local organisations
• Promote wellbeing, confidence, and teamwork
• Raise unrestricted funds for causes doing important community work

This May Half Term, our Youth & Community Team have planned some brilliant trips for young people aged 7-14 years.

Tuesday 26th May – Shiremoor Adventure Playground (£3 per Child) – 20 Spaces

Wednesday 27th May – Tynemouth Jungle Wipeout and Crazy Golf (£3 per Child) – 20 Spaces

🧺 Community picnic at Tynemouth Priory this summer

A new community picnic event is coming to Tynemouth Priory and Castle this June — bringing live music, food and family activities to the coast.

📅 Sunday 14th June
⏰ 12pm – 5pm
