Geogsoc, The Politics and Sociology Society, and the Politics and Geography departments’ Enterprise, Employability and Alumni teams present:

From Newcastle to Westminster: Politics, Vocation, and Faith.

Newcastle alumni former Liberal Democrat Leader Tim Farron MP (BA Politics, 1991) and Josh Price (BA Geography, 2020) share their experiences of working in Westminster, how studying politics and geography at Newcastle led to this, and the role of vocation, faith, and personal values in choosing a career in public service.

Maybe you’re thinking about a career in politics, or just wondering where your studies in GPS can lead you. In an informal interview and Q&A format, Tim and Josh will share their perspectives and stories from inside Westminster and answer your questions too.

Monday 13th February 5-6pm, The Boiler House. Free drinks reception afterwards. All welcome, no need to book
