📣 Just a thought 💭 as we are on our final push for target for a new Gosforth playground…

Now obviously we’re not saying everyone needs to donate £35 but it just shows how achievable this improved Playpark project is.

That stat is just for families with kids 0-9 so if we include others too or the soon to be families, grandparents, visitors, businesses we could reach target in no time.

No donation is too small. Every £1 helps.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to EMG Solicitors for all their support in the Gosforth community.

They sponsored our Taylor Swift concert last year allowing us to raise thousands for Gosforth Play Park.

This year they sponsored our kids K-Pop concerts again allowing us to donate all ticket sales proceeds to the Gosforth Playpark fundraiser.❤️❤️❤️

Thanks to this month’s K-Pop kids concerts we now have a grand total of £33,310 left to raise to bring a new and improved play park to Gosforth Central Park.

📣 Great news Gosforth!

❤️Thank you to all who bought tickets to our K-Pop Demon Hunters concerts…

We have raised an additional £1690.41 for Gosforth Play Park fundraiser. 👏👏👏

We sang, we danced, we had a lot of fun and we’ve raised a great amount for charity!

But none of this could have happened without the generous support from our sponsor EMG Solicitors who funded the acts for us.

📣Monthly Charity update

As you will have read in our January update we are working hard with the team from Gosforth Central to finally bring a new play park to Gosforth ❤️

Our joint charity Gosforth Community Foundation is working hard setting up fundraising events and looking into grants and donations to get us to target.

📣Time for a GOOD news UPDATE !

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us over the past few years, who has donated, raised money, attended fundraiser events or shared our posts.

As many of you will know we set up the Gosforth PlayPark Fundraiser just two of us, both determined local mums on a mission to improve the facilities of the playground in Gosforth Central Park. And now thanks to everyone’s help and a new exciting partnership we are very close to achieving our goal ! ❤️🙏❤️

Here’s (in brief) the story so far…

🛝Gosforth Central kindly supported our fundraiser donating funds from their community theatre and cinema events. Over £10,000 was donated over the last few years which has also helped to pay for broken equipment to be fixed.

🛝In 2025 Gosforth PlayPark and Gosforth Central joined forces and together we will make this happen 👊

🛝When Urban Green charity who managed the park and supported our fundraising was taken back to council control, we set up our own official charity to continue the great work with registered charity status. The new charity name is Gosforth Community Foundation.

🛝A tender was sent out to a number of playpark companies and two have been shortlisted.

🛝With the help of our local ward councillors we’ve lobbied the council for help with funding.

🛝If we can raise £40,000 more by August we will hit our target. Our aim is to bring the new improved playpark in Autumn 2026.
