Time to Talk day is a national day ran by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, encouraging people to talk and listen to each other. Mental health difficulties can affect anyone at any time.

Conversations around mental health can be difficult, but they are important and a conversation can change lives, not just today but any day. Start a conversation with friends, relatives, colleagues, neighbours, anyone.

If you find it easier to open up to people you don’t know then you can contact:

📞Samaritans – Call 116 123 (open 24 hours a day every day of the year)

📱 SHOUT – Text SHOUT to 85258 for confidential support via text message (open 24 hours a day)

📞Mind – Call the Infoline: 0300 123 3393 to find out where to get help near you and ask about mental health problems and treatment options (open weekdays, 9am – 6pm)

📞Calm – Call 0800 58 58 58 (open 5pm – midnight)
