Cllr Dan Astley has been on a fly tipping walk about around the Delaval Rd area in Scotswood.

All of the rubbish in the photos has been reported for clean up.

Additionally, I had a chat with a resident about the blocked drainage gullies, which clearly haven’t been touched in a long time. These are causing flooding during heavy rain. Again, this has been reported for clean up.

Pleased to see these tyres have been cleared up after yesterday’s report. Unfortunately the rubbish in the other nearby gateway is still there. It has been reported again this afternoon.

🚨 Reports of fly-tipping in Scotswood.

Cllr Dan was contacted about a heap of rubbish near the Rise estate. Apparently this was reported over six weeks ago and still has not been cleared.

It’s an issue right across the ward and wider city, sadly. We will do our best to get the mess cleaned up.
