The library acts as a hub that offers a huge number of services to residents of all ages. It is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to make sure the service is friendly and efficient. It offers a huge range of other services, activities and equipment. From free PC and Wi-Fi access to printing, scanning, photocopying and local studies materials there is something for everyone
to enjoy. There are also meeting rooms that are able to be hired out at rate of just Β£40 a day β or Β£20 for a half day. Silverdale is part of the community managed library scheme. The management of the library has been taken over by Business Enterprise Support who, along with the team of volunteers, runs the library. However, the building is still the property of Staffordshire County Council.
