🚨 Great news for our local industry!

The Chancellor today announced a £120m Support Package for our ceramics industry, providing capital investment for businesses across the sector.

The package will:
🌱 Help businesses invest in efficiency and decarbonisation projects
⚡ Support the transition to more cost-effective, energy-efficient production
📉 Offer operational support to bring down day-to-day costs
💷 Back capital investment across the industry

A further £60 million of additional Operational Expenditure support will be available to successful applicants if required.

I have urged the Chancellor to ensure that eligibility for the package is as wide as possible, and the application process as easy for businesses to access as it can be, so that businesses across our region can access the support they deserve.

The eligibility criteria for businesses and details of how to apply will be confirmed by the summer.

VOTE LABOUR TODAY 🌹

Polling stations are open until 10pm.

🆔️ Don’t forget that you now need to bring a valid photo ID to the polling station to cast your vote.

Our local Labour Councillors have been working hard year-round for our community – from securing record funding for local parks to fighting for safer roads and holding failing services to account.

While Reform only talk about national issues and offer no real solutions, our Labour team has a practical plan for the issues that actually affect your street.

Newcastle-under-Lyme doesn’t need the chaos of Reform in charge of our councils. Their record at Staffordshire County Council of leadership chaos, conduct scandals, and broken promises on tax cuts shows they are more interested in headlines than local issues.

While they focus on slogans, they’ve overseen a drop in basic services like pothole repairs.

Newcastle needs a serious administration that puts local services first, instead of offering easy slogans and broken promises.

Your local Labour candidates will:

🏘️ Prioritise housing for local people – delivering 60% social rent and ensuring residents get "first dibs" on new homes.

🌳 Toughen charges for littering – increasing penalties for those who blight our streets and fly-tip to keep our borough clean and tidy.

🛡️ Create safer streets – establishing neighbourhood police hubs and a resident-led fund to upgrade lighting and CCTV.

🏛️ Fight for a strong, independent Newcastle – as Labour Councillors have voted for at every opportunity in council, bringing power back up the A34 from Stafford and ensuring our borough remains an equal partner and never a satellite.

Please use all your votes for Labour today to restore pride in our community! 🗳️

We've been out and about across the Borough with our fantastic candidates.

Local Labour Councillors have been working hard year-round to be active, visible voices – from securing record funding for local parks to fighting for road safety and holding those in charge of failing services to account.

Newcastle-under-Lyme doesn’t need the chaos of Reform in charge of local councils. Their record at Staffordshire County Council is one of leadership chaos, conduct scandals, broken promises on tax cuts and savings, and overseeing a drop in pothole repairs and services.

We need a serious administration that puts local services first, instead of offering easy slogans and broken promises.

LEADERSHIP CHAOS. BROKEN TAX PROMISES. NO SOLUTIONS.

The reality of Reform in power on Staffordshire County Council is warning for Newcastle-under-Lyme.

With the local elections now less than a week away, the County Council shows exactly what happens when Reform UK actually takes control:

🔄 REVOLVING DOOR OF LEADERSHIP – Three different leaders in just twelve months. After bringing the office into disrepute, they left the County without a permanent leader for over 100 days.

📈 BROKEN TAX PROMISES – Residents were hit with a 3.9% council tax hike despite campaign pledges to cut taxes.

🗯️ RECORD COMPLAINTS – A fifteen-fold surge in complaints about councillor behaviour, with the vast majority directed at Reform members.

🚫 HOLLOW RHETORIC – Zero savings on "woke" diversity hires because the roles they promised to axe simply didn't exist.

The reality of Reform in power doesn’t live up to their easy answers and unworkable solutions.

Introducing Your Labour Candidates For
🗳 HOLDITCH & CHESTERTON

🌹 David Grocott
🌹 Precious Osode

David has been a visible champion for Holditch & Chesterton as ward councillor since 2019, holding regular surgeries and staying active in local groups. Precious lives in the ward and, alongside David, serves on the Chesterton Community Centre management committee. Together, they will be strong advocates for the area they both live in and care about.

We are being let down by those in charge of our local services. The potholes on the London Road roundabout show that Reform in power is simply not delivering. Meanwhile, the Conservative Borough Council has let our area slide. We don’t need the same faces moving between different political banners while our local issues go unfixed. Holditch & Chesterton deserves better than political infighting.

The choice is clear: a hard-working, visible, local team – or more chaos and failure from the same old faces.

Use your TWO votes in Holditch & Chesterton for David Grocott and Precious Osode.

Introducing Your Labour Candidates For
🗳 MAY BANK

🌹 Anthony-Claret Onwutalobi
🌹 Bayley Dickin
🌹 Jackie Olszewski

Anthony-Claret lives in Wolstanton with his wife and three children. Through his work in the NHS Ambulance Service, he sees the daily pressures on local families and is committed to delivering practical solutions for our ward.

He is joined by Bayley, who was born and bred in Staffordshire and made Newcastle his home after studying at Keele. Living and working locally, Bayley understands the hurdles young people face today, from the difficulty of finding affordable housing to getting a fair start in life.

Jackie is a dedicated campaigner with deep roots in May Bank. Having stood for the ward previously, she has the local knowledge and experience to ensure residents’ voices are heard and that the council delivers for our community.

Last year, May Bank elected a Reform candidate as our County Councillor. However, recent revelations and her subsequent resignation from the Borough Council have left many feeling our area has been brought into disrepute. Our community deserves strong, visible, and dedicated representation – people who actually listen and stand up for every resident. May Bank deserves a hard-working team that is active in the ward, not the chaos and neglect offered by Reform.

Use your THREE votes in May Bank for Anthony-Claret Onwutalobi, Bayley Dickin, and Jackie Olszewski.
