Men’s Health Week – 9-15th June 2025

Men’s Health Week highlights the importance of addressing physical and mental health issues among men. It aims to reduce stigma, promote regular health check-ups, and provide resources to support healthier lifestyles.

With many men often reluctant to seek medical advice, the week creates a platform to spark conversations about health and well-being.

Staffordshire Libraries are showcasing a couple of books which we think are a good fit to support this awareness day.

Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to Happiness and The Mind Manual: Mental Fitness Tools for everyone by Dr Alex George.

Both are available to request at any Staffordshire Library.

This afternoon two of our volunteers went to the Support Staffordshire Volunteer Awards to collect our certificate of recognition for the work done by our fantastic group of volunteers.

It's really lovely to receive this, especially during national volunteer week !
