Newcastle Emlyn Swimming Pool A charity run swimming pool, plenty of fun and exciting activities for all ages. The pool is 25m x 8.4m.

Its depth is 1.07m in the shallow end, 1.57m at the far end, its deepest part being 1.98m which is situated ¾ of the way up the pool from the shallow end. Water temperature is normally in the range of 29.4-29.6°c. The pool is host to a number of aquatic activities including fun swims, under 8’s sessions, adult and junior instruction together with club sessions for competitive swimmers and sub-aqua.

⚠️ POOL CLOSURE UPDATE ⚠️
Due to a contamination incident during a school swimming session today, the pool remains closed while essential water quality and filtration procedures are completed.
As a result:
❌ All General Swims are cancelled
❌ Aqua Aerobics is cancelled
❌ All Swim Lessons from 4:00pm–6:00pm are cancelled
We are planning to reopen tomorrow morning as normal.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we complete the necessary safety procedures.

⚠️ POOL CLOSED TODAY ⚠️
Due to another contamination incident, all General Swims, Aqua Aerobics, and today’s swim lessons from 4:00pm–6:00pm are cancelled.
To help reduce the risk of further incidents and closures:
🚿 Mandatory showers before entering the pool will now be enforced
⚠️ The pool will also be cleared 5 minutes before the end of each session for checks of the water and pool surrounds
We apologise for the disruption and thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding.
