This ho-ho holiday season, West Berkshire is bursting with exciting Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) sessions for children and young people! From sports and music to arts, crafts, gaming, and outdoor adventures, there's something for everyone. Plus, every session includes a nutritious meal.

Don't miss our Christmas camps, including three days (22 to 24 December) of festive excitement at Park House School, Newbury. There's Christmas-themed fun galore, including Parachute Games, Hungry Hippos, Inflatables and Nerf Wars.

Many HAF places are free for children eligible for free school meals, and there are paid options too, so everyone can join the fun! Eligible families will receive a voucher by email with credits to book activities. Simply log in, browse providers, and secure your child’s spot!

Our friends at The Base, Greenham are offering a fabulous, free, art course this Sunday!
This course is perfect for families who might wonder if art and art spaces are the right place for them and their kiddos - the course will be a welcoming way for any child who might not normally have an opportunity to work with professional artists to participate!

Our friends at West Berkshire Libraries are hosting some more of their fabulous pop-up libraries:
- Leckhampstead Village Hall: First Wednesday of each month, 10am to 12pm.
- Upper Basildon, St Stephens Church: 10 November and every second Monday of each month, 10am to 12pm
- Compton Village Hall: 13 November and every second Thursday of each month, 10.15am to 11.45am

Great stuff for families in Hungerford:

The Tutti Pole tea room in Hungerford's High Street hosts SEND Support Drop-in sessions for the parents and carers of children with additional needs in the town and the surrounding area.
They take place on Thursdays, with both daytime and evening sessions available.
The next is this Thursday, October 23, from 10.30am to noon.

Berkshire Youth are teaming up with Watermill Theatre and Newbury Pride to explore The Watermill’s new smash-hit production of Charley's Aunt, with a series of free workshops.
Get involved in drama sessions, design workshops and drop-in art sessions all centred around ideas of gender identity, reimagining classic texts and the creative process behind producing a new theatre production.
These free workshops are taking place at Waterside Centre on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th October and are open to anyone aged 14 -17.

Get your fancy dress ready, Visit Newbury & Parkway Shopping Newbury are hosting a spooktacular Halloween event next Thursday!

Something wicked this way comes! Parkway Shopping Newbury is getting ready for Halloween with their Horrible Halloween event on 30th October (10:30am - 2:30pm).

They're promising some frightfully good fun for the whole family, including a Vampire Party live show, a Trick or Treat Trail, a fancy dress competition (we hope to see plenty of witches and ghouls walking around town!) and free craft workshops.
