🌿✨ Spotted one evening in one of our wild areas: the majestic Roe deer, one of the few native species thriving in the UK! 🦌

These beautiful creatures play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of our ecosystems, helping to shape the landscape and support diverse wildlife. However, their growing population presents challenges. Without natural predators, Roe deer can overbrowse, impacting vegetation and other species.

As we cherish these gentle wanderers, let’s also advocate for sustainable management practices to ensure a harmonious coexistence. Protecting our wildlife is key to preserving the beauty of our countryside! 🌳💚

Spring has arrived and with it a quiet kind of magic 🌸

As we welcome the Spring Equinox, our gardens are beginning to stir back to life. Blossom has burst into soft clouds of pink and white, bulbs are stretching towards the light and fresh green shoots are emerging across the ground.

All around wildlife is awakening. Birdsong fills the air while bees venture out on the milder days in search for nectar. You may even spot the first butterflies dancing through the garden.

The Equinox marks a moment of balance, day and night in perfect harmony. From here the days will grow longer, warmer and brighter. In the coming weeks, expect a tapestry of colour as tulips, daffodils and flowering trees reach their peak, transforming the gardens into a vibrant celebration of Spring.
